Dr Brad Morgan

Chiropractor

Dr Brad has a diverse background from having multiple long-term careers which ultimately lead him to become a chiropractor, and as a father of six he has a lot of life experience behind him. Dr Brad has a long history in health and fitness. He obtained a Certificate 4 as a Master Personal Trainer in 2002 and has continued to study and train people in functional movement since that time.

Dr Brad has a great interest in working with sports people of all ages and from many different sporting disciplines, treating sport-specific injuries and offering sport-specific rehabilitation. As an avid golfer he is certified in the Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 – Body Swing Connection certification and continues to study with the Titleist Performance Institute to complete their level 2 and 3 medical certifications for golf-specific injuries and golf-specific rehabilitation.

Dr Brad is originally from Western Australia and moved his family from Kununurra in the Kimberley region to Mackay to undertake the chiropractic course at Central Queensland University in Mackay. Returning to study in the allied health field as a mature aged student, he chose chiropractic because of the chiropractic philosophy and strong educational foundation that chiropractic offers. The chiropractic philosophy centres around the body’s own natural ability to function and heal itself. This healing can be negatively affected if a person has too much stress – physical, chemical or emotional. As an allied health practitioner Dr Brad can assist in identifying these areas of stress and work towards removing or reducing them.

Dr. Brad offers a range of techniques in treating musculoskeletal presentations including: Diversified manual chiropractic adjusting techniques, Percussion Therapy (deep muscle massage machines), Dry Needling Therapy (DNT), Shockwave Therapy, Low force techniques – Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT), Muscle Energy Technique (MET), soft tissue massage techniques, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisations (IASTM), Activator, functional movement-based therapies and rehabilitation.

“I have a passion for health, healing and education and I believe that my job is to help to improve the function of the musculoskeletal system and nervous system to enhance the health and well-being of the whole body.”
